Requirements

The Corema software will run on all recent versions of Windows.

Corema can be installed on a standalone PC or in a multi-user environment. In a multi-user environment, the database can be hosted on a database server in your local network or on a cloud database service.

Desktop PC

MS Windows 7 or later (32 or 64 bit).
Can also be used on macOS with virtualization software and on Citrix.
100 Mb available memory and 200 Mb disk space.
MS Office or other product with support for Excel and Word files.
Internet connection.

Database

Corema can use a locally hosted database or a cloud database service.

Locally hosted database

MS SQL Server in a local network for multi-user environments.
MS SQL Server Express in a local network for smaller databases and few users.
MS SQL Server Express on a local computer for a single user.

Cloud hosted database

MS SQL Azure for multi-user environments.
Internet broadband connection with fixed public IP address and good line quality and speed is necessary.
We offer a hosting service with all database management taken care off.

Maps

The Corema Map module requires an internet connection to access a map provider like Google, Bing or online Web Map Services (WMS).
Maps can also be hosted on a WMS server in your local network.

Web Server

The web solution Collection Explorer requires a web server with IIS 6.5 or later and ASP.NET 3.5.

Data is uploaded from Corema to an internal database on the web server.
There is no direct connection between the web server and your Corema database.
